The MARK “B” School and Research Centre, a proud unit of MARK Educational Health and Charitable Trust, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (IECD), Bharathidasan University, on 21st August 2012.
Bharathidasan University, a State University under the Government of Tamil Nadu, is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). This partnership was established to offer career-oriented and skill-focused vocational programs through face-to-face on-campus learning modes.
Objective of the Collaboration
The MoU was designed to create a strong academic-industry linkage and to provide job-oriented, practical education that meets the changing needs of modern industries. The initiative emphasizes:
- Delivering quality vocational education with hands-on experience.
- Enhancing employability skills among students and working professionals.
- Promoting entrepreneurial development and career advancement.
- Providing recognized university-level certification through structured programs.
Courses Offered Under the MoU (Formerly Conducted)
Under this collaboration, the following vocational and professional programs were conducted:
- Certificate in Embedded System Design and Hardware Networking – Focused on embedded technologies, microcontrollers, and computer networking essentials.
- Certificate Course in Computer Hardware and Application – Offering practical training in system assembly, maintenance, and basic software applications.
- Certificate Course in BPO Management – Preparing students for Business Process Outsourcing careers through communication, process, and customer management training.
- PG Diploma in Human Resource Management – Providing advanced knowledge in talent acquisition, performance management, and organizational behavior.
- PG Diploma in Financial Management – Equipping learners with skills in accounting, budgeting, investment analysis, and financial planning.
